Janghangli Temple Grounds

Posted on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 at 4:53 am

Janghangli Temple Grounds is the ruin of a temple that stood on the south slope of Tohamsan. It is named after the the local village, Janghang, because the original name of the temple is not known.

Janghangli Temple Grounds can be reached by driving up to the peak of Tohamsan and taking the right fork. Continue down until you come to a car park on your left.

Only two 5-story stone pagodas remain; one in relatively good condition; the other badly eroded after being left scattered around the grounds before being put back together.
