Half-moon Fortress (반월성 – Banweolseong), also known as Weolseong Palace was the seat of the Shilla monarchy from 57 BCE to 938 CE. The name comes from the shape of the walls which were shaped like a crescent moon. Trees now grow within and around the walls of this ancient fortification inexorably erasing the raised banks and slowly filling the interior with layers of organic matter.
The trees take on a ghostly appearance in the overcast snowfall as a blanket of quiet descends to muffle the day. The muted sound of the traffic is punctuated by a soft ‘flup’ as a branch gives up its decoration to gravity.
There’s nothing wrong with your screen or the pictures, I’ve just treated them to a Cross Processing in the new version of Bibble that I’m slowly getting used to.
